hectic summer

It has been one crazy summer for the otteson family!! almost immediately after the last day of school (woo-hoo! straight A's for the whole year!) we drove about 2,000 miles in our 5 year old ford freestar. we visited graceland, the houston space center, the grand ole' opry house, a texas rodeo, visited friends and family, and stopped at countless fast food joints. The family road trip lasted ten long days, even though a couple of those days were spent driving nonstop. except for bathroom breaks, which were certainly mandatory when you have 3 little boys on board. then we took some time off at home reading books from the local library. The boys just finished swimming lessons today which went on for 10 days with some days off because of dallins birthday party, super late nights because we babysat some friends while their parents went to trek. and lets just say their sleeping schedule is very different from the early-to-bed otteson children. now kimball has a hoarse voice and a sore throat. ditto for andrew. and me. and even mom. did I mention we go to sleep REALLY early compared to the average family. (at 9:00 everyone is asleep except for maybe dad.) currently we are frantically cleaning and packing up for the trip to our alberta, canada to visit grandparents. and that was our summer. summarized. haha. i'll post some pictures later. the computers running really slow. we're getting a new iMac.
