alberta vacay. ( that's vacation abbreviated.)

our trip kicked off with 3 long plane rides, and we arrived at the great falls, montana airport at around 11:00. thats 1:00 our time. only to have a 3 and a half hour drive to our grandparents house. so we got there at 4:00 our time. needless to say, we skipped church that morning. on monday we had a fabulous time at writing on stone, and we hung out at home. walked the dogs. tuesday we attempted to go fishing in the rainy weather, so we followed gramps into the muddy path leading to the lake. gramps went a little to far and got stuck in the mud pit. we tried to get the car out , but it was near impossible. we asked a man at the gas station if we could use his 4 wheel drive. we eventually got it out, but we were all a muddy mess. later the boys went to see a movie, so me and grammy went to go to the mall. i got knee high high tops. and some aviator sunglasses. pretty sweet. the next day we went to waterton and went kayaking and visited all the tourist shops. thursday we went fishing again and came back empty handed. then we had a huge family barbeque. friday we wanted to go skiing but the water was to cold and choppy so we went tubing. it was really fun and the waves were choppy so we went like 7 feet in the air every time we hit a wave. saturday we flew home on two plane rides and got home at around 11. home sweet home. heres a pic of the boots.
